Introducing Education and Training is part of the Vision 2030 Social Pillar with Kenya aiming to provide global quality education, training and research to its citizens through the establishment of centres of specialization. The objective of the social pillar is investing in the people of Kenya in order to improve their quality of life. Toyota Kenya Limited, through the introduction of Toyota Kenya Academy which is under the Toyota Kenya Foundation, has continued to adress the critical needs for technical and entrepreneurship skilled manpower and also improve the quality and relevance of Technical Industrial Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TIVET) learning institutions.

Main Objectives

 

  • Cultivating Automotive-related (motorcycles, cars, trucks) service technicians
  • Cultivating construction, agricultural and industrial machinery technicians (including technicians from other companies)
    Offering management and leadership development
  • Providing training open to the public through collaboration with JICA and local universities, thus contributing to regional society
