Nairobi, 5th May, 2023 – CFAO Motors reaffirmed its commitment to education by awarding ten exceptional students scholarships as part of their High School Scholarship Program. This transformative initiative aims to empower the children of CFAO Motors employees and provide them with the opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations and become future leaders in their chosen fields.



Education is widely recognized as a key factor in fostering economic development in Africa and training the next generation of skilled professionals. Recognizing this, the CFAO Group has been operating a scholarship program since 2001, supporting the secondary, college, and university education of employees’ children. This program serves as a tangible means of enhancing the employability of young individuals, contributing to a brighter future for both the recipients and the continent as a whole.

Out of the twenty applications received, ten students were carefully selected to receive scholarships for the next four years. The selection process was rigorous, ensuring fairness and inclusivity. The chosen scholars will receive financial assistance to cover tuition fees, uniforms, textbooks, and other necessary educational expenses, enabling them to focus on their studies and explore a wide range of academic opportunities.



The prestigious award ceremony took place at the Toyota Kenya Academy, Nairobi, with esteemed guests in attendance, Arvinder Reel, Managing Director of CFAO Motors Kenya, along with other high-ranking company officials, recognized the students’ achievements and emphasized the significance of education in transforming lives and driving progress. Joshua Anya, Deputy Managing Director of Toyota, Automark, and Yamaha 2-wheel division, also graced the occasion, showcasing the collaborative efforts of CFAO Motors and Toyota in supporting educational initiatives.

In addition to the scholarship, the scholars were given a unique opportunity to enhance their planning, leadership, and teamwork skills through a half-day session at the Toyota Kenya Academy. This holistic approach to education equips them with the tools necessary to excel in their chosen fields and contribute positively to society.



Not only did CFAO Motors invest in the scholars themselves, but they also recognized the importance of supporting parents in their role as caregivers and mentors. A dedicated session was organized to equip parents with strategies for finding a balance and fostering healthy parent-child relationships through open and honest communication.
